Transfer Credit

Registrar

Transfer credit is awarded to matriculated students on the basis of official transcripts received from accredited postsecondary institutions. Qualifying grades at the undergraduate level are "C" or above. At the graduate level, grades of "B" or above are accepted for transfer.

Matriculated undergraduates who wish to study at another accredited institution should complete the transfer credit approval form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.

Guide for Transfer Students

亚洲博彩平台排名's transfer credit database is intended as a guide for prospective transfer students. You are considered a transfer student if you have enrolled in any college or university courses after graduating from high school.

For students who are currently enrolled in high school taking dual enrollment coursework, up to 15 credits of regionally accredited college-level courses may transfer into your degree at 亚洲博彩平台排名. If you are taking AP courses, please see the section below to learn more about equivalencies for these classes.

Prior to admission, we encourage you to use the database to identify some of 亚洲博彩平台排名's current equivalencies. The information in this system is provided as a guide to how classes at your current or former institution may transfer to 亚洲博彩平台排名. Courses appearing on this list do not guarantee that the course will transfer in your individual case. However, courses listed have transferred in the past and are highly likely to transfer in the future. Additionally, many courses do not appear on this list, but may be eligible for transfer.

Final determination of transfer credit acceptance is ultimately made by the registrar and department chairs. A formal transfer credit evaluation is completed for every admitted transfer student and sent via email within two weeks of your acceptance. Only courses submitted on an official transcript with a grade of C or higher are eligible for transfer.

This database is subject to frequent revision, as schools and additional courses are added to the list on a regular basis. Please direct any questions regarding this database or the transfer of credit to (401) 341-2943 or sruregistrar@vbj4.com.

College Level Examination Program

Matriculated undergraduates who have developed competence in basic subject areas may receive credit for acceptable scores on College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams offered by the College Board. Transfer students may receive credit from CLEP exams taken prior to enrollment at the University, provided that their scores meet 亚洲博彩平台排名 standards. Students may not receive duplicate credit for areas in which credit has previously been granted.

Advanced Placement

The University grants academic credit to students who have acceptable scores on the Advanced Placement (AP) tests offered by the College Board. Advanced standing and the actual number of credits to be granted are determined by the University after a review of the student's record and test scores.

International Baccalaureate

The University grants credit to students who achieve acceptable scores in higher level courses of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. An official transcript of IB studies is required before a final decision on credit can be rendered. The actual number of credits awarded is determined after the applicant's record and official transcript are reviewed.
